Sequence 2501 came into life around December 2017 out of the necessity to have a new outlet for live photography outside the well-trodden paths.

With the return of Nekrographie in 2021 most sessions held under the banner of S2501 were eventually re-attributed to Nekrographie, while a handful of concerts shot under the name of Nekrographie were attributed to S2501 in order to clearly distinguish between the vision and direction of both projects.
